As a remote worker on the go, I share tips, stories, and resources to help you navigate working from anywhere. I’ll share some of my travel tips and guides as I explore some of my favorite destinations around the world (including the DMV area (DC-MD-VA), Riga and Las Vegas!)
I’ll also share some resources for freelancers who are looking to travel more. If you’re a fellow digital nomad or just curious about how to travel the world on a budget, you’ve come to the right place!
A little about me…
Hi! I’m Sasha. I’m a Northern Virginia native, business coach, and videographer who works remotely and travels the world.
I split my time between the US and Europe and have traveled to over 10 different countries. I’m currently based in the DMV area (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) and I’m hoping to move to Europe soon!

Vegas
Las Vegas is one of my favorite places to visit in the US! The city is home to some gorgeous resorts and world-class dining & entertainment, and it’s truly a one of a kind destination.
We go to Vegas pretty much every year, and there’s always something new to do on and off-Strip, like explore new restaurants and spas, and discovering scenic desert hikes just a few minutes outside the city.
I consider myself somewhat of a Vegas expert, and I’m excited to share my tips and insider tricks for making the most of your time here.
DMV
The DC-Maryland-Virginia area is my hometown! The area gives you easy access to all three states, making it a popular location for travelers (and digital nomads!)
There are so many fun things to do in this area, from exploring the diverse restaurants around Northern Virginia, to seeing the iconic landmarks and museums in D.C., to trying local seafood in Annapolis.
I’ve spent most of my life in the DMV area so I can confidently share my local tips + tricks for exploring the area.

Little Happy Travels originally started as a YouTube channel in 2023. Since then, I’ve continued to work and travel, and share my tips for people looking to explore different destinations around the DMV and LV!
My videos have two goals: to be an inspiration for those who want to travel more, and a resource. Unlike most travel bloggers, you will not see me in my vlogs, as I want my content to be about the travel experience (and not about myself).
