Looking for fun things to do on the Las Vegas Strip?

I’ve been going to Vegas every year for the past four years, and each time, we’ve stayed right on the Strip. There’s so much to do here, from thrilling roller coasters to world-class shows and restaurants you just can’t find anywhere else.

Of course, there are plenty of things you have to see in Las Vegas, and many of them are located right on the Strip (the heartbeat of the city and the reason it’s known as the entertainment capital of the world). Vegas has something for everyone, so if you’re looking to chill out or party hard, you’re bound to have a great time. 

If you’re planning a trip, here’s a curated list of must-see attractions and experiences along the Las Vegas Strip.

Beyond the usual casino, dining, and shopping scene, here are my top picks for unforgettable experiences on the Las Vegas Strip in 2025:

Iconic Attractions & Views

The Strip is packed with things to do, and the best part? A lot of them are totally free! These are some of the most iconic spots you have to check out if you’re staying or spending time on the Strip:

1. Bellagio Fountains

The Bellagio Fountains are hands-down one of the most iconic attractions in Vegas. It’s a stunning, free water show with jets shooting as high as 460 feet into the air. It’s a must-see when on the Strip, and is mesmerizing to watch both day and night, with water “choreography” that dances to a rotation of popular and classic hits. For the best view, head past the hotel lobby to the valet exit, where you’ll find a long balcony offering a great perspective of the fountains and the Eiffel Tower across the Strip.

The show runs every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the time of day. On weekdays, it goes every 30 minutes from 3 PM to 7:30 PM, then every 15 minutes until midnight. On weekends, shows start earlier (every 30 minutes from noon until 7:30 PM, and then every 15 minutes after that). I’d recommend visiting around sunset, as the views are seriously stunning and the lighting adds a whole new vibe. It’s one of the things to see on the Las Vegas Strip that you don’t want to miss!

2. High Roller Observation Wheel & Fly LINQ Zipline (at The LINQ Promenade)

Standing at 550 feet tall, the High Roller is the second-tallest observation wheel in the world. The 30-minute ride gives you panoramic views of the city, and it’s even more magical at night when the Strip lights up. Each cabin is climate-controlled and fits up to 40 people, and there are even “happy hour” pods with an open bar and a host. (After all, this is Vegas!) You can get admission tickets to the High Roller and even experience happy hour here!

Right next to it is the Fly LINQ Zipline, which is a totally different kind of thrill. You launch from 12 stories up and soar 1,121 feet across the LINQ Promenade, either seated or in a superhero pose. It’s a fun way to see the Strip from above, especially if you’re in the mood for something more fast-paced than the peaceful High Roller ride. It’s another great way to take in the scenery!

3. Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck (at Paris Las Vegas)

For a taste of Paris in the desert, visit the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck at Paris Las Vegas. This half-scale replica of the real deal rises 46 stories (541 feet) above the Strip and offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the skyline.

You’ll take a glass elevator up to the open-air deck where you can see landmarks like the Bellagio Fountains, the High Roller, and all the glittering lights of Vegas. It’s especially beautiful at night or around sunset. If you’re looking for a more romantic way to enjoy the views from the Eiffel Tower, I recommend booking a reservation at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. It’s one of the top restaurants in Vegas, with floor-to-ceiling windows and delicious French cuisine that makes the experience extra special.

4. Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign

No Vegas trip is complete without a photo in front of the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign! Located at the southern end of the Strip, about a 10-minute walk from the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, this 25-foot neon sign has been greeting visitors since 1959.

There’s a small parking lot and a pedestrian-friendly area for photos, but to avoid crowds and get that golden-hour lighting, I recommend going early in the morning or around sunset. If you arrive mid-afternoon (like I did), you can always snap a side photo while others wait in line. It still makes for a great pic and you can cross it off of your Vegas to-do list. 

5. Titanic Artifacts Exhibition (Luxor)

At Luxor, the Titanic Artifacts Exhibition displays over 250 items recovered from the ship and offers a rare look into the past of the ill-fated vessel. You can walk through rooms with actual artifacts, touch a mini “iceberg,” and you’re even assigned the identity of someone who was on the Titanic (you’ll find out their fate at the end). It’s a little grim, but the interactive aspect is great for kids.

The presentation of the museum is really detailed and educational, and includes an exact to scale replica of the grand staircase. The price is definitely up there (around $40+ per adult), but if you’re into history, it’s worth it. You can book tickets to the Titanic Artifacts Exhibition here. The museum itself doesn’t take a lot of time to go through, unless you want to read every plaque and listen to every story (which I definitely recommend if you have time). Overall it’s a moving experience that gives a deeper understanding of the tragedy and the history surrounding the ship.

6. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden

Located next to the Bellagio Fountains, the Conservatory & Botanical Garden is like stepping into a magical, ever-changing wonderland! The displays change seasonally, and there’s a a lot of attention to detail here. It offers a peaceful break away from the Strip. The indoor garden showcases stunning seasonal displays with a variety of plants, flowers, and intricate arrangements, making it a photographer’s paradise. 

The conservatory changes for upcoming events and holidays, like Lunar New Year, Easter, and more. I had the pleasure of seeing the conservatory right before the Paris 2024 Olympics, and there were some beautiful hot air balloons made entirely of flowers. 

This is one of the free things to do on the Las Vegas Strip, which is awesome. Just be warned: it gets packed during hotel check-in times (like 3 PM and 11 AM), so go early in the morning or just before dinner for the best experience. And don’t miss the nearby coffee, chocolate, and gelato shops! They add a nice touch to the whole vibe.

7. Play a Round of Golf at the Only Golf Course on the Las Vegas Strip (Wynn)

Escape the hustle of the Strip and find a peaceful oasis at the Wynn Golf Club, which is the only golf course actually on Las Vegas Boulevard. 

This 18-hole championship course is gorgeous, surrounded by waterfalls, lush greenery, and luxury-level service that’s often described as next-level. It’s a rare chance to enjoy a relaxing round of golf without ever leaving the heart of the city. The course has a quiet atmosphere and pristine fairways, making it feel like a world away from the casinos.

Doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned golfer or just want to experience something new in Vegas! It’s conveniently located from the Wynn casino, and there is rental gear available, along with expert caddies on hand which makes it easy to enjoy if you forgot your clubs (or don’t have any). If you’re into golf or getting into golf, don’t miss the course at Wynn! 

8. SkyJump Las Vegas

SkyJump at The Strat is one for the adrenaline junkies! It’s one of the best fun things to do on the Las Vegas Strip! You get to experience a controlled free fall from 829 feet up. People often think it’s like a bungee jump, but it’s actually a decelerator (think James Bond being lowered quickly off a skyscraper). It’s a good start for people who are looking to get into skydiving, or just want to experience the Strip from a totally new angle.

However, it is pricey, and I don’t recommend getting the photo package. The photo is just a quick snap at the top, not mid-air. If you really want to document the jump, I’d suggest using your own 360 camera instead to film the experience on your own. 

You’ll hit speeds of up to 40 mph on your descent, and it’s definitely a rush, especially if you’re afraid of heights. The staff is super friendly and professional, and they make sure you feel safe and ready before you take the plunge. 

Entertainment & Shows

Las Vegas is world-famous for its top-tier entertainment, with shows happening daily and nightly all over the Strip. Over the years, I’ve seen quite a few, and these are the shows and venues I’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Vegas. 

9. Cirque du Soleil Shows

There’s a reason why Las Vegas is known for its Cirque du Soleil productions. At any given time, there are at least four Cirque shows running on the Strip, and each one is a mesmerizing blend of acrobatics, dance, and visual art. Shows like “O” at the Bellagio and “Mystère” at Treasure Island captivate audiences with stunning performances. 

It’s hard to describe what makes Cirque du Soleil so special, especially in Vegas. You really just have to see it for yourself. The stunts are breathtaking, the sets are vibrant, and the costumes and choreography are on another level.

I’ve seen almost every Cirque show in Vegas, and my personal favorites are “O” and Michael Jackson’s “One.” The music, the visuals, the energy is simply amazing. My least favorite was The Beatles LOVE, as some of the sets felt oddly eerie, and both my boyfriend and I walked out feeling a bit unsettled. It just didn’t land for us. On the other hand, KÀ was visually stunning, and Mad Apple made me laugh harder than I have all year (definitely an 18+ show, by the way).

If it’s your first time in Vegas, catching a Cirque du Soleil show is a must! It’s one of those “only in Vegas” experiences.

10. Residency Concerts

The Strip has become a go-to destination for residency concerts from some of the biggest names in music. You can see global superstars in more intimate venues, and recent residencies include artists like Kelly Clarkson at Caesars Palace, Usher at Park MGM, and Bruno Mars at the Bellagio. 

If you’re visiting between May and September (which is peak concert season) you’ll have even more options. The vibe of these shows is totally different from a stadium concert – the smaller venues allow for an up-close connection with the artists, making each show feel personal and exclusive. Highly recommend checking who’s playing during your trip!

11. Absinthe (at Caesars Palace)

Absinthe is a cabaret-style show that blends acrobatics, burlesque, and comedy. The performers are incredibly talented, from the aerialists to the comedians, and almost everyone I’ve talked to who’s seen it has gone back more than once. It’s definitely not for kids, or anyone who’s easily offended. The humor is crude, the energy is chaotic, but it’s all part of the charm. We were cracking up the entire time, and the acrobatics were jaw-dropping. Get your Absinthe tickets here and see it for yourself!

If you’re looking for a bold, hilarious night out in Vegas, Absinthe is it. Honestly, it reminded me a lot of Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil! Both shows are daring, different, and a ton of fun on the Strip.

12. The Sphere

The Sphere is one of the newest and most talked-about venues on the Strip. It’s this massive, futuristic dome equipped with 360-degree projections, immersive sound, and high-tech displays. It’s built to be a totally sensory experience. Big-name artists like The Eagles have used it for next-level concerts, taking full advantage of the visuals and acoustics. Even if you’re not going to a concert, you can catch one of the immersive shows like Postcards from Earth, which wraps the audience in stunning visuals and soundscapes. 

You’ll want to avoid seats in the upper rows of the 100 section. You’ll miss most of the dome’s visuals, as in those rows you only see maybe 10–15% of the screen. If you have mobility issues, you want to opt for accessible seating as the stairs are steep. And ticket prices vary a lot. Concerts are pricey (often over $100), but daytime shows like Postcards are more affordable.

Overall, reviews are mixed. Some people think it’s life-changing, others think it feels more like a tech demo with some propaganda, rather than a meaningful experience. Personally, I think it’s worth seeing once, just to say you’ve seen it! You can also take a private tour of The Sphere!

13. Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum

Located at The Venetian, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum showcases incredibly lifelike wax figures of celebrities, historical figures, and cultural icons. The museum opened in 1999, and was the first Madame Tussauds venue to open in the United States. Visitors can get up close to their favorite stars for unique photo opportunities, so if you’re into pop culture, this is a cool spot to visit! Get your passes to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum here!

The museum is a bit on the smaller side, so it’s not an all-day activity, but it’s great for photo ops, especially if you’re already in the area. You can stand next to your favorite celebs, see how tall you are compared to them, and take some silly or stylish pics. If you’re planning to visit multiple attractions, I recommend grabbing a GoCity pass and making this one of your stops. It’s a light, fun way to break up your day on the Strip.

14. Magic Shows (specifically Shin Lim: LIMITLESS)

Las Vegas is home to some of the world’s most mesmerizing magic shows, with some of the best illusionists in the world. There are a lot of options, from David Copperfield at the MGM Grand to Criss Angel’s Mindfreak. 

My personal favorite is Shin Lim: LIMITLESS at The Palazzo Theatre. His sleight of hand is insane – you watch him do up-close card magic that feels genuinely impossible. The show opens with a mentalist act (which is fun on its own), and Shin Lim himself performs for about 30 to 40 minutes. It’s intimate, beautifully staged, and completely mind-bending.

If you only have time for one magic show, this is the one I’d go for. Copperfield felt a bit outdated to me, with a story that didn’t quite land, but Shin Lim? Highly recommend it. 

15. Blue Man Group (at Luxor)

The Blue Man Group at The Luxor is a fun and visually stunning experience, with a good mix of humor and musicality. They do a great job interacting with the audience (although at times it can feel a bit drawn out), and the visuals are amazing. The music is great, and as a dancer, I can appreciate the overall production! See the Blue Man Group by getting your tickets here!

If you’re sensitive to flashing lights or loud sounds, it might not be for you. But if you’re looking for something different, upbeat, and totally off-the-wall, it’s worth checking out. Just book your tickets ahead of time, as it tends to sell out.

16. Take a Break and Relax at the Spa 

With all the hustle and lights of Vegas, a spa day can be the perfect way to reset. There are a ton of beautiful spas around the Strip, but my favorite spot for a day pass is Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace. The Roman-inspired baths, Arctic Ice Room, and serene lounges make it feel like a luxurious break. 

If you’re looking for something even more upscale, Canyon Ranch Spa at The Venetian and Bellagio Spa & Salon offer next-level service with customized treatments, facials, and deep-tissue massages in elegant settings. Vegas might be known for partying, but it’s honestly one of my favorite places for a spa day. The amenities are top-tier, and the overall vibe is incredibly peaceful, making it perfect for recharging before your next night out.

Casino & Gaming Experiences

Of course, no trip to Las Vegas is complete without stepping into one of its iconic casinos. The Strip is a paradise for gaming enthusiasts, offering everything from classic slot machines and blackjack tables to high-stakes poker and immersive sportsbooks. After all, this is how Vegas makes its money. Spend big, win big (though let’s be honest, more people probably experience the former!).

Here are some exciting ways to experience the classic Las Vegas gaming atmosphere:

17. Try Your Luck at a Casino

Walking into any casino on the Las Vegas Strip is an experience in itself. Whether it’s 4 a.m. or 6 p.m., there’s always someone playing at the tables. The constant chime of slot machines, the buzz of the crowd, and the dazzling lights create a one-of-a-kind vibe you just won’t find anywhere else. Each casino has its own personality, and half the fun is hopping around to find the one that fits your style.

If you want an elevated gaming experience, I recommend checking out the more upscale casino hotels like The Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian, and Wynn Las Vegas. The Bellagio casino offers a sophisticated ambiance, and Caesars Palace casino immerses you in a Roman-inspired setting with a massive, elegant casino floor. The Venetian casino also has a great variety of games with beautiful frescoed ceilings and rich architecture, and the Wynn Las Vegas casino is a rising favorite for its sleek atmosphere and excellent table game selection.

That said, you’ll find plenty of charm at casinos in themed hotels, like New York-New York casino or Luxor casino, where the gaming floors match the immersive decor. Honestly, every casino on the Strip brings its own flair, and for me, exploring them is more fun than actually gambling. If it’s your first time gambling, many hotels offer beginner-friendly gaming lessons. Ask your concierge, or check the schedules below!

If you’re not really into slot machines, and prefer more face-to-face table games, I recommend looking into some of the many complimentary poker lessons offered by casinos on the Strip. These lessons are a great opportunity to learn the game’s fundamentals, like hand rankings, betting strategies, and poker etiquette, all in a relaxed and friendly environment. The games are very beginner-friendly too, with sessions led by experienced instructors who help make the learning process fun and engaging.

Two great places to take poker lessons:

• The STRAT (Saturdays & Sundays from 8–9 a.m.)
• Golden Nugget (Daily at 10 a.m.)

These lessons typically focus on Texas Hold’em, the most popular variant, and are led by friendly, knowledgeable instructors. Some casinos even offer private coaching for a fee. Check with the individual properties for availability and registration info. It’s an awesome way to ease into the game before joining a real-money table.

19. Wynn Las Vegas Casino

If you’re serious about poker, or you just want to witness a legendary poker environment, the Wynn Las Vegas Poker Room is one of the best in town. Regulars rave about its classy atmosphere, professional vibes, and consistently high-quality action. 

With some of the highest buy-in caps on the Strip, this room attracts a lot of serious players, so it’s not the most beginner-friendly space. Even early in the morning, you might find yourself on a waitlist. But if you’re into competitive poker, this is where to be – I’ve heard that there’s a “lots of lucky” in this room! 

Expect plush seating, excellent staff, and a steady stream of pro-level tournaments and cash games. Just be prepared for a more intense scene. It’s a great place to watch the pros, even if you’re not quite ready to join them.

20. Visit the MGM Grand Sportsbook

If you’re into sports betting, the MGM Grand Sportsbook is the spot. Often called the best on the Strip, it’s a sleek, smoke-free venue with wall-to-wall TVs showing games from all over the world. The vibe is electric and is good for people who are casual bettors or die-hard fans.

The sportsbook is free to enter, but keep in mind that seating can be limited, especially during major games. Luxury booths are available for rent if you want to go all out, and the capacity is around 250-300 people. It’s smart to get there early, especially as the space fills up fast during playoffs or championships. Lines usually post at 9 a.m. 

Think of it as a hybrid between a sports bar and a high-energy casino lounge. Even if you’re not placing bets, it’s still a fun place to catch the game.

Dining & Foodie Experiences

Las Vegas has an incredible culinary scene that rivals its world-renowned entertainment, and a big reason why I look forward to our annual trips..The Strip has a diverse range of dining options, like high-end restaurants by celebrity chefs and hidden gems with dishes you can’t try anywhere else. Here are some of my favorite dining experiences that are so worth it on the Strip:

21. Eiffel Tower Restaurant (Paris Las Vegas)

Ever dreamt of dining atop the Eiffel Tower, but in Las Vegas? Perched above the Strip inside the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, the Eiffel Tower Restaurant offers not just incredible views but also a truly memorable dining experience. 

With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, it’s especially stunning at night when the lights of Las Vegas sparkle below. The atmosphere is romantic and refined, making it a perfect pick for date night or a special celebration. If you can, book a dinner reservation timed with sunset or after dark! Brunch is also lovely if you’re after something more relaxed.

There is an extra charge (around $40 per person) to sit by the window, but it’s well worth it for the view. The food is a pleasant surprise as well – it’s elegant, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Standout dishes include the pistachio soufflé with its unique flavor, and the sautéed snap peas, which are some of the most delicious peas I’ve ever had. It’s definitely a splurge, but between the views, the ambiance, and the cuisine, it’s one of those classic Vegas experiences that is totally worth it.

22. Secret Pizza (The Cosmopolitan)

Hidden down a long hallway lined with vintage records inside The Cosmopolitan, this no-sign, no-frills spot lives up to the name. It’s like stumbling into a little New York slice joint. 

No fancy decor, no reservations, just delicious, thin-crust pizza with crispy edges, gooey cheese, and classic toppings. Service is fast, the atmosphere is super laid-back, and despite the occasional line, it’s totally worth the wait. I recommend grabbing a slice or two and eating it while strolling the Strip. 

23. Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen (Caesars Palace)

If you’re a fan of the show Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace is a must. It’s true to the set, complete with that fiery red and blue kitchen design and a high-energy vibe coming from the kitchen. The menu stays true to the show, featuring standout dishes like the iconic Beef Wellington, perfectly cooked scallops, and decadent sticky toffee pudding.

Even if you’ve never seen an episode, the experience is worth it for the food alone. The food is surprisingly approachable for such a high-profile spot, and it’s easily one of Ramsay’s best restaurants on the Strip, and one I look forward to returning to again and again.

24. Bacchanal Buffet (Caesars Palace)

Hands down the best buffet on the Strip, and maybe in all of Vegas. The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is massive, offering over 500 dishes every single day. It’s not your average buffet; everything is made fresh and presented beautifully. 

They have a lot of delicious Asian and Mediterranean dishes, and classic American comfort food. It’s the kind of place where you can start with sushi, move on to tacos, and finish with dim sum, and each is excellent and authentic.

Some of the standouts include the chilled crab legs piled high, juicy prime rib carved to order, and a dessert station that feels more like a patisserie than a buffet, with mini cheesecakes, macarons, and made-to-order crepes. It’s a good spot if you need to fuel up before a long day on the Strip or if you want to treat yourself to a next-level feast. 

25. Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes (The Venetian)

If you’re craving something casual and over-the-top, Black Tap delivers. Known for their juicy, flavorful burgers and insane “CrazyShake” milkshakes stacked with cake slices, cookies, candy, and whipped cream towers. It’s like dessert and a sugar-fueled art piece all in one (and one that will definitely give you a sugar crash afterward!)

The food here is a feast for the eyes as much as it is for your sweet tooth, and the vibe here is casual and colorful. Their classic All-American burger is delicious, and it’s a great pick for lunch, a late-afternoon treat, or any time you’re in the mood for a hearty meal with some super Instagrammable dishes. 

Shopping & Unique Experiences

Beyond gaming and dining, shopping is one of the best things to do on the Las Vegas Strip. It offers a lot of shopping experiences catered to all buyers, with luxury brands names and quirky boutiques. 

These are a few of my favorite spots to shop and stroll on the Strip:

26. The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is hard to beat. The Forum Shops combine luxury retail with over-the-top Roman architecture (think towering marble columns, dramatic ceilings, and larger-than-life marble statues). The settings are stunning and palace-like, with marble columns, dramatic ceilings, and elegant corridors that make you feel like you’re in a movie. 

You’ll find over 160 stores here, from designer brands like Gucci and Versace to accessible favorites like H&M and Sephora. It’s more than just shopping here, there are beautiful displays too! You’ll find a free mini animatronic show, The Fall of Atlantis, and a jaw-dropping replica of the Trevi Fountain. These shops are a must-see on any Vegas itinerary.

27. The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian

The Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian is a one-of-a-kind shopping destination that is full of winding indoor canals, real gondola rides with singing gondoliers, and beautiful squares filled with street performers, restaurants, and musicians. There are over 200 stores in the Grand Canal Shoppes, including luxury labels and unique boutiques.

But what really sets these shops apart is the setting: sky-painted ceilings that mimic afternoons in Italy, beautiful architecture, and cozy nooks to rest and enjoy some gelato. The Grand Canal Shoppes offer an immersive escape that doesn’t really feel like a day at the mall, it’s another one-of-a-kind shopping experience in Vegas!

28. The LINQ Promenade

The LINQ Promenade is an open-air entertainment district that offers a fun mix of shopping, dining, and attractions, all set against a backdrop of neon lights and music-filled streets. There are plenty of cute boutique shops, pubs, and eateries, and there’s always something happening here, especially at night! 

One of the main highlights of the promenade is The High Roller Observation Wheel, the tallest observation wheel in the world which offers unbeatable panoramic views of the city, especially stunning at sunset or after dark. The LINQ promenade is a very walkable space, and you can easily spend an entire evening exploring everything in this area! 

29. Miracle Mile Shops

The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is a great indoor mall right inside the heart of the Strip in Las Vegas. There are so many shops, restaurants, and theaters here, and the stores have really good prices too (one of the most affordable on the Strip), alongside some great shows! The mall is a popular stop for those looking to spend a few hours browsing through retail offerings that range from fashion to novelty shops, and then catch a show later on at the V Theater! 

In addition to its retail stores, the Miracle Mile Shops host regular live performances, and they even have a free “rain” show in the middle of the mall every 30 minutes. It’s a great place to grab a meal, catch a show, and spend a few hours browsing different shops. 

Bars & Nightlife

30. The Chandelier (The Cosmopolitan)

The Chandelier bar inside The Cosmopolitan is an iconic, multi-level bar made of cascading crystal strands that shimmer in the light. It’s one of the most visually stunning bars on the Strip, with a glamorous and engaging atmosphere that make you feel like you’re drinking inside a giant chandelier (which you kind of are). The design is glamorous and captivating, perfect for a night out or a quick photo stop.

If you’re in the know, order the off-menu “Verbena” cocktail. It’s a citrusy drink with a buzz button garnish that makes your tongue numb for a few minutes and then changes the flavor profile of the drink. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy some unique cocktails, but keep in mind that the space can get packed, especially during the evening. Don’t miss this bar if you’re in Vegas!  

31. Minus5 Ice Bar (The Venetian & Mandalay Bay)

If you’re looking for a truly cool experience, head over to Minus 5 Frozen Bar at Mandalay Bay. Everything in this bar is entirely made of ice, from the walls to the furniture. No need to pack a heavy coat! They provide you with a warm parka and gloves upon entry. 

It’s a chill escape from the scorching Vegas sun (especially during the summers in Las Vegas), and it’s one of those unique experiences you won’t find anywhere else. There are multiple locations, but the Minus5 Ice Bar at The Venetian is especially popular. Entry packages start around $26 and include everything you need to stay warm. Just wear closed-toe shoes for max comfort. It’s a short but memorable experience that’s perfect for cooling off and doing something completely different on the Strip.

32. The Bar at Times Square (New York New York)

The Bar at Times Square is home to one of the most entertaining dueling piano shows in Vegas. For a $10 cover, you get access to a night full of singalongs, audience shoutouts, and fast-paced piano battles that make for a really fun night out. I recommend arriving before 8 p.m. if you want good seats. Otherwise, you can stand and still have a great time dancing along.

If you’re there during happy hour (around 7 p.m. on weekends), you might even avoid the cover altogether for standing room. The bartenders are fast, the vibe is lively, and the crowd is always into it. Don’t forget to tip the pianists too! They’re the heart of the show and they love a good request.

33. Omnia Nightclub (Caesars Palace)

Omnia at Caesars Palace is one of the best nightclubs in Vegas. It features a moving chandelier in the main room, synced to the music and lighting, and is known for hosting world-class DJs like Tiesto (who often performs here until 4am!). The nightclub attracts large crowds eager to dance the night away, and it can be very expensive, especially during peak holidays like New Years Eve and Fourth of July. 

Many people say VIP tables are worth the splurge for the bottle service and line-skipping perks. You can enjoy escorted services, bottle service, and have an amazing time. The dynamic atmosphere, and amazing DJs make Omnia one of the top party spots on the Strip!

34. XS Nightclub (Wynn)

XS Nightclub at Wynn is another gorgeous nightclub, offering a luxury party experience with an indoor dance floor and an expansive outdoor pool area. The club frequently hosts celebrity DJs like Diplo, and though drinks are on the expensive side, the overall experience feels worth it. 

It’s a top pick for big weekends like New Year’s Eve and offers one of the more upscale club vibes on the Strip. Inside, you’ll find a luxe dance floor and chandeliers; outside, there’s a poolside area with cabanas, blackjack tables, and open-air lounges under the stars. It’s an absolutely gorgeous venue, with just the right mix of sophistication and wild. If you’re looking for a glamorous party scene, XS is hard to beat.

Vegas offers unique daytime experiences, like relaxing by luxury pools and exploring peaceful retreats like the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. You can easily enjoy the city without the nighttime crowds:

35. Luxury Pools

Hotel pools in Las Vegas are much more than just spots to swim, they’re full-blown resort experiences. At Mandalay Bay, you can relax by beach-like pools with soft sand, while The Venetian offers elegant, Italian-style pools perfect for lounging in luxury. Admission to hotel pools are free for guests, but if you’re not staying at the hotel, you’ll have to pay extra for entry. Some of my favorite luxury pools include the ones at the Venetian, Park MGM, and Bellagio. Each pool is a unique retreat.

Even if you’re not staying at these hotels, you can often buy a day pass to access the pools (though prices vary by season). For more of a party atmosphere, check out day clubs that host DJ sets and pool parties (Steve Aoki and other big names often play here). Just make sure to bring sunscreen and hydrate, as it’s easy to forget both when you’re vibing in the Vegas sun during one of the epic summer pool parties!

36. The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat

Hidden behind the Flamingo Las Vegas, the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat offers a peaceful escape from the Strip with exotic birds, Chilean Flamingos, turtles, and koi fish. It’s a great place to walk through or to sit in for a while. You’ll see about half a dozen flamingos here, and it’s a beautiful free attraction in Las Vegas! You don’t have to visit the casino or be a guest at the hotel, just follow the signs and enjoy the nature. 

You can get some cute photos here too! If you’re not staying on Strip, there’s a parking garage available and a complimentary three-hour parking for locals. There’s also a dining and drink station near the wildlife habitat, but I honestly recommend relaxing on the bench and enjoying the grounds and koi ponds!

It’s like Disney World for grown-ups, and each resort feels like its own world. It’s more than just gambling, the Strip is a sensory overload in the best way possible.

Is it fun to walk the Las Vegas Strip?

Yes, but pace yourself. I’ve walked the Strip many times, and while it’s a blast seeing all the lights, street performers, and fountains, it’s also deceptively long and hot (especially in the summer). A lot of casinos look closer than they actually are, so if you’re going to explore on foot, I recommend making the most of free trams like the one that goes from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur and the Aria Express Tram. When you walk the Strip, especially during the summertime, I recommend walking through the casinos in order to get that blast of AC! 

What is the difference between the Strip and downtown Las Vegas?

The Strip is much more glamorous than downtown Las Vegas, with mega-resorts, award-winning shows, and an overall elegant and polished experience. Downtown Las Vegas (aka Fremont Street) is more old-school Vegas with neon signs, cheaper drinks, and a bit grittier in a fun, retro way. I love both for different reasons, but if you’re looking for non-stop sensory overload and a more polished experience, the Strip is the way to go.
