Here are the best most affordable eats in Las Vegas!
My partner and I have been visiting Las Vegas every year for the last four years (when the Vegas heat hits triple digits), and one thing I always look forward to is the food. It’s no secret that Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, and is home to some incredibly glitzy resorts and casinos. However, the city is also home to some incredible eats. Vegas is full of restaurants where you can try one-of-a-kind burgers you can’t get anywhere else and experience fine dining that is once in a lifetime. I still haven’t even scratched the surface of all of the amazing spots to eat!
Most people think you have to spend big to have a great time in Vegas, but in terms of good eats, there are endless options for grabbing a great meal without breaking the bank, both on the Strip and around the city. In this post, I’m going to share my favorite affordable spots to eat in Las Vegas, spots that have earned a permanent place on my “must-eat” list, from classic must-tries on the Strip to off-the-beaten-path locations off-strip.

Best Affordable Restaurants in Las Vegas (On The Strip)
1. Dirt Dog

Dirt Dog is one of those places that hits every single time. The hot dogs are messy, overloaded with toppings, juicy, and packed with flavor. The hot dogs are made of 100% beef, wrapped in 100% bacon, and are humongous, served on unique buns and the fillings are plenty. Even though the hot dogs are a bit pricey, they will keep you full for a while. The service is more like a street style, and I highly recommend trying the Elote Dog! It’s topped with grilled sweet corn, chili powder, lime mayo, cotija cheese… and it’s delicious.
If you love hot dogs, you will love Dirt Dog! It’s a popular late-night spot, and honestly, some of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had. It’s located in the Grand Bazaar Shops, not too far from Flamingo and Horseshoe!
- Addresses: Multiple locations
- Price point: $10–$20
- Google rating: 4.6
2. Yard House

Yard House is one of the best sports bars in Vegas. It’s more high-end, and they have a huge menu of draft beers and American fare, and the food always delivers! It’s located within the LINQ promenade, and it gets crowded, especially when games are on. The menu is massive, so it’ll satisfy any palate! I love their Korean BBQ cheesesteak and the poke nachos, but they have everything from Vampire tacos to homemade chili and mac and cheese. It’s a great place to fuel up before heading back out on the town, and the service is fast, friendly, and consistent. Plus, it’s reasonably priced compared to other restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip!
- Addresses: Multiple locations (including The LINQ)
- Price point: $20–$30
- Google rating: 4.5
3. BBQ Mexicana

I first heard about BBQ Mexicana through a YouTube video, and their burnt ends burrito is a cult favorite. I knew I had to try it. Located in Mandalay Bay, on your way to the Shark Reef Aquarium, it’s a fast-casual spot but the food is super elevated. Think smoked meats with bold, spicy flavors wrapped up in burritos or bowls. BBQ Mexicana seriously has some of the best burritos I’ve ever had.
Their smoked brisket burrito with chipotle aioli is also incredible, with the perfect balance of heat and smokiness. The food here is reasonably priced for Vegas and isn’t overly greasy. It’s warm, tastes fresh, and they have good portion sizes! People praise BBQ Mexicana for its surprisingly gourmet price, and honestly, it’s one of the best quick bites in Vegas. Stop by!
- Address: 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd. (inside Mandalay Bay)
- Price point: $10–$20
- Google rating: 4.4
4. Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge

Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge has been open since 1972 and serves up crazy portions and American comfort food. When you step inside, you feel like you’re in old-school Vegas with neon lights, velvet booths, and massive portions. It’s a great breakfast or brunch spot, and the value is great considering that it’s Vegas.
Try one of their country-fried steaks or massive omelets, and you’ll be full until dinnertime! Peppermill is almost like a Vegas institution, and the retro atmosphere is part of the charm, attracting clientele from local guests, and tourists, to celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Adam Lambert, and Anthony Bourdain. It’s right across the street from Resorts World!
- Address: 2985 S Las Vegas Blvd.
- Price point: $20–$30
- Google rating: 4.5
5. Grand Lux Cafe

Grand Lux at The Palazzo is an excellent spot for brunch. The menu offers many choices, from short rib tacos to carbonara pasta, and the vibe is upscale and casual. They also serve solid lunch and dinner items here, like the Stacked Chicken Quesadilla and the Crispy Fish and Chips. The portion sizes are very generous, and the menu will probably remind you of The Cheesecake Factory’s. The reason is, that the same team is behind both restaurants, aiming to deliver Italian trattoria and French bistro-inspired dishes at wallet-friendly prices.
The food is consistently tasty, and the pricing is very reasonable. Just be aware that it’s located inside the casino, so it can get a bit noisy during peak times. Still, it’s hard to beat the value and variety.
My go-to picks are the Grand Lux Burger and the Chicken Madeira. And if you have a sweet tooth, be sure to try their Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae!
- Addresses: Multiple locations (including The Venetian)
- Price point: $20–$30
- Google rating: 4.5
6. Istanbul Mediterranean Restaurant

I found this place when we were near Horseshoe, craving something light and still filling. Istanbul Mediterranean has now become one of my favorite go-to lunch spots when I’m near the Strip. The chicken shawarma wrap is loaded with flavor, and the hummus is some of the best I’ve had in town! Super creamy and fresh.
The portions are generous for the price, and it’s a hidden gem on the Strip. The food is authentic, fresh, made with love, and once you take a bite, you instantly know that they use fresh ingredients. There’s no seating, you just order and go. The salad and sauces are delicious and flavorful, and the star here is the rice! Definitely a must-try if you’re looking for something quick, delicious, and healthy on the Strip.

7. La La Noodle

We tried La La Noodle spontaneously before our Mad Apple Cirque du Soleil show, and now it’s one of my top picks for delicious authentic food at a great price. Their beef brisket noodles are tender and full of flavor, and their Pad Thai is delicious! Honestly, any dish with broth is a must-try here, and people have said that La La Noodle is the best place for a hangover or Asian food craving.
La La Noodle is tucked inside the Park MGM, and the atmosphere is casual but upscale. The restaurant is surprisingly affordable for how good the food is, and the best part is that the dishes here contain minimal to no msg. It’s my favorite noodle spot on the Strip!

Evel Pie has some of the best pizzas in downtown Vegas, located right in the heart of Fremont Street. The pizza is thin, crispy, and loaded with toppings, and the Evel Knievel is a must-try, topped with pepperoni, sausage, and more. Evel Pie has this cool, retro vibe with a bit of rock ‘n’ roll in the decor (think 70s biker bar vibes), and their food selection is delicious!
The food portions are just right, and you should try the croissant sandwich! Their Sunday brunches are delicious, and it’s one of the coolest pizzerias in Las Vegas. The service is fast and friendly, and they serve delicious New York-style slices with just the right balance of sauce and cheese. Highly recommend it, especially after a night out!

Blueberry Hill is a great spot for breakfast and other American comfort food dishes, at a super great price. Their banana crepes are delicious, and the portions are so generous for the price. It’s some delicious home-style comfort food and is often packed on weekends, but well worth it!
Their lunch and dinner dishes are also delicious, with some fresh burgers (you can tell the patties haven’t been previously frozen). A lot of people compare Blueberry Hill to Dennys, but with a much bigger menu selection, bigger portion sizes, and fresh food that’s way too good for the price. The pancakes are so fluffy they almost take up the entire plate!
- Addresses: Multiple locations
- Price point: $10–$20
- Google rating: 4.5

Village Pub & Cafe at Ellis Island is a great spot for breakfast, dinner, and late-night bites! They always deliver hearty meals without breaking the bank. Plus, the restaurant is open 24 hours, making it a great spot if you want a late-night snack (I’ve heard that even at midnight, the prime rib is incredible).
The “Steak Special” with a baked potato and a side salad is one of the best deals in town, and their fish and chips with tartar sauce are a must-try! The food tastes really good for the price, and there’s a cool local feel to the restaurant. This is the place if you’re looking for the best affordable steak in Las Vegas!

Their burritos are huge (a little bit on the pricey side, but will last you a few meals) and packed with flavor, making them a great value for the price.
It’s a no-frills place and a bit of a hole in the wall, but it’s clean and colorful. Sayulitas offers some of the best Mexican food in Vegas, along with some delicious Mexican-Filipino fusion dishes. Plus, they’re open late, which is a win in Vegas!

It’s in the Tuscany Suites & Casino and has a more casual, diner-like atmosphere. I highly recommend the prime rib scramble, if you’re feeling up for it. It comes with toast and hash browns, and for a pretty good price too!

We made the mistake of going into Giordano’s when we were hungry, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pizza so loaded with cheese and toppings. We decided to try the largest deep-dish pizza they had, thinking we’d be able to finish it all, and we had to take it home for breakfast the next day! It’s consistently packed, and if you eat here, be warned – the prices are great, and the portion sizes are extremely generous!
The Chicago-style pizza is worth the wait and packed with flavor. If you have a pizza craving and don’t know where to go, Giordano’s is one of the best spots! Giordano’s has a location on-strip, near Horseshoe Casino in the Grand Bazaar Shops, and off-strip.
