It’s easy to think that Las Vegas is all about spending big, but the truth is, there are countless activities and attractions that you can enjoy for FREE on the Las Vegas Strip and in the nearby area. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning for another trip, you’d be surprised how much there is to do without breaking the bank. Over the past four years of visiting Vegas annually, I’ve discovered so many hidden gems, and there’s so much to see and do for free. From snapping photos of iconic landmarks to exploring beautiful installations and attending free shows, you can experience the magic of Vegas without spending a dime.

Here’s a list of some of the best free activities in Las Vegas that I always make time for and would recommend to anyone trying to make the most of Vegas on a budget. So, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned visitor, keep reading for my ultimate guide to the best free things to do in Las Vegas.

Best Free Iconic Attractions & Experiences in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is full of iconic attractions that are completely free to enjoy. These sights include everything from stunning water shows and gorgeous hotel interiors. Here’s a roundup of my top picks:

1. Bellagio Casino & Fountains

When most people think of Las Vegas, the Fountains of Bellagio immediately come to mind. These iconic water shows are a must-see for any visitor and are completely free to watch! 

The fountains put on an impressive show set to music, with water jetting as high as 460 feet in the air, and it’s really mesmerizing. It’s a favorite among tourists and locals alike, and the beauty of the fountains never fails to impress me every time I’m in Vegas.

For the best fountain views, I recommend heading straight past the hotel lobby, near the valet exit. If you walk just past the smaller fountain, you’ll find a long balcony with a breathtaking view of the fountains and the Eiffel Tower across the Strip. If you want to avoid the crowds, try to arrive a few minutes early or go during off-peak times.

The fountains run every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the time of day. From 3 PM to 7:30 PM on weekdays, they run every 30 minutes and every 15 minutes from 8 PM to midnight. On weekends, the fountains run every 30 minutes from 12 PM to 7:30 PM and every 15 minutes from 8 PM to midnight. You can also check the official schedule here for updates.

While the street views are good, I recommend catching one of the evening shows at sunset for an unforgettable experience. Watching the fountains light up against the Vegas skyline is beautiful, and really magical! 

2. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Another fun, free activity at the Bellagio is exploring the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. This lush, vibrant space features seasonal floral displays that are absolutely stunning. I love taking time to walk through the gardens, taking in the beauty of the seasonal flowers, plants, and installations that reflect the changing seasons and local events.

Keep in mind though, it can get crowded during typical hotel check-in hours (around 3 PM and 11 AM), so if you’re looking for a quieter experience, I suggest visiting either early in the morning or just before dinner.

The displays change seasonally, with themes like hot air balloons before the Paris 2024 Olympics and a Nordic winter display with flower trolls the year before. And of course, it’s free to enjoy! While there are paid experiences nearby (like afternoon tea), walking through the gardens is a beautiful and free activity.

3. Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign

No trip to Vegas is complete without a visit to the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. This sign is not only a symbol of the city but also a fantastic photo opportunity. It’s about a 9-minute walk from Mandalay Bay, and it’s a classic Vegas experience you have to do at least once. 

Of course, if you’re not up for the walk, you could Uber there, but I’ve found it to be a fun stroll, even in the blazing summer heat. Just make sure to stay hydrated!

If you want to avoid long lines for your photo, try snapping a picture from the side while people are switching turns. It may not be the perfectly centered shot you imagined, but you’ll still have that iconic Vegas photo to show off, and you’ll be able to say you’ve visited one of the most famous landmarks in the world.

4. The Las Vegas Strip

There’s a lot to see on the Las Vegas Strip – you can people-watch, check out some street performers, and soak in the grandeur of the casinos and iconic landmarks. There’s so much to see and do, and the best part is, it’s all free! People-watching is one of my favorite activities in Las Vegas, and you’ll never be bored as you stroll along the Strip.

Make sure to take advantage of the free trams that run between the hotels along the Strip. The Mandalay Bay tram connects Mandalay Bay to Excalibur and Luxor on the south end of the Strip, and the Aria Express Tram links Aria to Park MGM, Bellagio, and the Shops at Crystals. These trams are a great way to get around and explore the Strip while saving your feet from excessive walking, especially on those hot Vegas days. Plus, if you’re visiting in the summer, the air conditioning inside the trams is a real lifesaver! (and it’s my secret for visiting Las Vegas during the summer months) 

5. See Free Attractions in Hotels

Las Vegas hotels are like mini-destinations all on their own, and many of them offer free attractions that are definitely worth checking out. Here are some of my favorites:

The Aquarium at Silverton Casino Hotel

Located off-Strip, the Aquarium at Silverton Casino Hotel is home to thousands of fish and even features live mermaid performances on select days. While there’s a paid Mermaid School experience, you can enjoy the main aquarium, which features beautiful koi and tropical fish, all for free. There are also additional aquariums at Bass Pro Shops, showcasing trout, catfish, and bass. 

I highly recommend checking it out, and if you’re not staying nearby, taking an Uber is a convenient way to get there.

MGM Grand

The MGM Grand is one of the most iconic hotels on the Strip, with a history that goes back decades. Walking through the MGM Grand is an experience in itself. Once the largest hotel in the world, the MGM is still one of the biggest hotels on the Strip, with 6,852 rooms. Don’t miss the iconic “golden” MGM lion in the lobby, and check out the Shops at MGM Grand, which offers a mini shopping mall experience with a variety of shops and eateries. It’s definitely worth a stroll, even if you’re not planning to gamble.

Luxor Hotel & Casino

The Luxor is another fantastic hotel to visit for free. Its Egyptian-themed design is impressive, and there’s a lot to see, from the pyramid structure to the hieroglyphics that adorn the walls. Also located on the South End of the Strip, you can explore the pyramid and surrounding areas for free, including the Egyptian-themed entrance through the valet parking area, murals featuring Egyptian gods and goddesses, mini sphinxes, and obelisks with glowing hieroglyphics. 

I also recommend stepping outside to the tram stop (where the Mandalay Bay tram connects to Excalibur and Luxor). There’s a great photo opportunity with a giant Sphinx! 

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

If you’re into art, you’ll love the free art installations at The Cosmopolitan. The hotel has an eclectic mix of modern art pieces that add a cool touch to the atmosphere. Plus, the multi-story chandelier made of crystal beads is a major attraction in itself. It’s a beautiful hotel to walk around, offering a modern and luxurious vibe.

Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace is a must-see spot for anyone visiting Vegas. It’s one of the most iconic hotels on the Strip, with beautiful mall areas like the Forum Shops, where you can enjoy Roman-style architecture and browse through boutique stores. The famous Colosseum is a landmark in Vegas history, and even if you’re not catching a show inside, it’s fun to just walk around the hotel and soak in the luxury. Don’t forget to snap a photo with Caesar in the lobby, and be sure to check out the statues like the Three Graces and the beautiful portraits, including a recreation of the Birth of Venus.

Aria Resort and Casino Poker Room

Aria is a sleek, modern hotel known for its impressive art installations, and its Poker Room has a reputation for being one of the best spots in Vegas for poker enthusiasts. Even if you’re not playing, it’s fun to watch the action. Outside the poker room, you’ll find the Shops at Crystals, offering futuristic architecture and luxury boutiques that are fun to window-shop. I also recommend stopping by Aria’s stunning glass atrium, which has a beautiful, open feel. Don’t forget to find the Laughing Buddha statue and rub his belly for good luck!

The Venetian Hotel

The Venetian is another must-see resort in Las Vegas, especially if you’re looking to soak in the grandeur and luxurious side of the city. There’s a mini St. Mark’s Square on the outside of the hotel, and as you step inside, you feel like you’re wandering through the cobblestone streets of Venice. The highlight here is the Grand Canal Shoppes, where you’ll find beautiful gondola rides on the indoor canals, but even if you’re not taking a ride (I don’t really recommend it), simply walking around is a treat. 

Don’t miss the replica Rialto Bridge or the intricate frescoes that decorate the ceilings (look up, especially near the hotel lobby and Street walk-through area). The lighting and elegant atmosphere of the hotel give it a nice romantic vibe, and if you go upstairs to where the high-end shops are, just taking a break and lounging on one of the plush benches feels like a luxurious experience. 

Also sometimes they have living statues and street performers, who sing Italian songs and add to the experience. I recommend people watching in the Grand Canal shops!

The LINQ Hotel & Casino

The LINQ is a lively spot on the Strip that’s perfect for a casual stroll and a little free entertainment. After exploring the casino, I recommend stepping outside and walking through the LINQ Promenade, which is a cute alleyway full of colorful shops, art installations, and street performers. You can snap photos of the famous High Roller observation wheel or just enjoy the open-air space. The promenade comes alive at night, and during the summer months, the fountains offer a nice cool-down with their water mists.

Paris Hotel

Paris Las Vegas is one of my favorite hotels to walk through. The Parisian-inspired interiors and beautiful French architecture make it feel like you’ve stepped into the City of Lights, with Parisian-inspired interiors and beautiful French architecture. 

Of course, the iconic Eiffel Tower replica is a must-see, and while going all the way up or visiting the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (which is one of the best restaurants on the Strip), costs a bit of $$, you can take some beautiful photos outside near the street level.

There’s also a replica of the Arc de Triomphe outside near the valet parking area, and inside you can wander through the lobby, which features elegant décor and classic French touches. The hotel lobby is one of my favorite hotel lobbies in Las Vegas. It’s gorgeous, free, and enjoyable to walk through! 

New York-New York Hotel & Casino

New York-New York is also a fun hotel to walk through and is full of cool photo opportunities. The hotel’s iconic skyline, featuring replicas of landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge, instantly transports you to New York City, and the interior is full of eateries that make you feel like you’re walking through the streets of Manhattan. 

Step outside and enjoy some free concerts in the evening near the Brooklyn Bridge replica, and take a photo next to the replica of the Statue of Liberty. 

The streets are themed according to different streets in NYC, complete with street signs and yellow cabs. There’s also a rollercoaster (which is $14 per person), and you can snap some cool photos of it from the outside. The property is huge, like so many hotels in Vegas, and just wandering around is a fun way to experience the best of New York on the Strip.

Hand of Faith at the Golden Nugget

Located off-Strip, the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino is home to the world’s largest gold nugget, the Hand of Faith. Weighing in at 61 pounds (27.21 kg), it’s proudly displayed in the hotel’s lobby for all to see – free of charge. It’s a cool piece of Vegas history and definitely worth checking out!

Best Free Shows in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is known for its world-class entertainment, but did you know Las Vegas has plenty of great shows and activities available for free? Here are some of my top recommendations for free entertainment and attractions that are definitely worth checking out:

6. Fall of Atlantis Show (Caesars Palace Forum Shops)

The Fall of Atlantis show at Caesars Palace features fire and water effects, telling the mythical story of Atlantis. 

Even though the animatronics are a bit outdated, it’s a cool spectacle for anyone passing by that tells the story of King Atlas and his children.

The storytelling is light and the special effects are pretty cool, including some flames and cascading water. Not bad for a quick and free 10-minute show, plus the backdrop of the Roman-inspired architecture makes for a pretty cool experience. 

7. Fremont Street Experience

The Viva Vision light shows at Fremont Street Experience are a must-see in Las Vegas. Starting at 6 pm nightly and completely free to enjoy, it’s one of the most visually stunning things you’ll see in Vegas. 

The lights are so bright that you think it’s daylight sometimes! The atmosphere is completely different from what’s on the Strip, and well worth checking out.  

There are also a lot of other fun, free things to do on Fremont Street, like concerts and street performers. There are three or four stages with live music, and it’s a great place to sit back and people-watch. There’s so much history in Fremont Street, and they’re constantly updating it with new attractions and experiences, so if you’re visiting Las Vegas, I definitely recommend spending a day exploring Fremont Street! 

8. Lake of Dreams at Wynn

The Lake of Dreams at the Wynn is another fun, quick show, which is at a similar level to the Fall of Atlantis Show in Caesars Palace. It’s a short, 2-3 minute show that tells a whimsical story, featuring a singing frog which, sometimes, swaps out with other characters, a performance waterfall & 5,500 LED lights. 

A lot of visitors recommend booking a table at Bar Parasol where you can sip cocktails with a good view of the show, but personally, I’d stop by the North Show Terrace. It’s free to watch from the North Show Terrace, and if you need help finding your way, I recommend asking one of the security members or casino employees. 

The show changes every 30 minutes, so be ready for something slightly different every time. It’s a cute, beautiful attraction that’s free on the Strip. The shows run every single night, every half hour, starting at dusk.

9. Circus Acts at Circus Circus Hotel

Circus Circus offers free circus performances multiple times a day, and it’s another fun thing to do on the Strip! Even though the hotel itself has a pretty bad reputation as being one of the worst hotels in Vegas…(I hear some places are haunted), the circus acts are enjoyable!

Part of Circus Circus Hotel and Casino, the Midway, surrounds the circus stage where free acts perform daily. You can also play old-fashioned carnival games, which makes for a unique experience in Vegas. The hotel is on the far northern end of the Strip, and it’s a bit of a walk, but nothing too crazy. 

10. Free Fashion Shows at Fashion Show Mall

Fashion Show Mall is really fun to walk through. It has a lot of your classic shopping mall stores like H&M, Zara, and Forever 21, but also some cool art installations that are interactive. Be sure to check online for the latest art installations! They rotate seasonally. 

Fashion Show Mall also offers some really interesting fashion shows on weekends, which allows visitors to see the latest fashion trends and designs on live runway models. Check online to confirm the show schedule before your visit.

11. The Dirty 12:30 Free Comedy Show at the South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa

The Dirty 12:30 Comedy Show at South Point is a free weekly late-night stand-up comedy show on Friday nights. It has quickly become the hottest and most in-demand comedy show in Las Vegas, and the comedians are actually pretty funny! South Point is located off-strip, and although the casino is off the Strip, it’s definitely worth the trip for a fun and low-cost night out.

Best Museums & Culture in Las Vegas

There are several museums and cultural attractions that are free to explore on and off the Las Vegas Strip. Here are some of my favorites: 

12. The Wildlife Habitat at Flamingo

The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel is a peaceful oasis filled with lush greenery, koi ponds, and of course, the hotel’s famous flamingos. It’s a great place to relax and get a glimpse of other wildlife like swans, turtles, and exotic birds, all for free! 

Also walking through the property is pretty fun – Flamingo has some colorful, old-school décor that’s nice to look at (plus sometimes during the day, they have blackjack with a minimum bet of $1! Pretty good deal, although gambling isn’t a free activity).

13. Downtown Container Park

Downtown Container Park is a unique shopping and entertainment area in Las Vegas. All of the tenants are housed in metal cubes and shipping containers! 

It was part of a project to revitalize the downtown area, and it’s a cool area to walk around, with free entry to the shopping and entertainment area. It was once a pretty weathered neighborhood, but the art installations, rooftop bars, nightclubs, and creative eateries make it well worth the trip. Plus, you can sometimes catch some street performers. 

14. Pinball Hall of Fame

The Pinball Hall of Fame is a display of the world’s largest pinball collection. It’s free to enter, but if you want to play some of the old-school pinball machines, get ready to spend some change. 

I’ve had a blast playing some vintage games here. You can either take a taxi to this spot, or you can combine a visit to the Pinball Hall of Fame with your visit to the Las Vegas sign – it’s about a 10-minute walk from the Welcome to Vegas sign. A lot of people say it’s more fun than the casinos! 

15. Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art

The Marjorie Barrick Museum is the only free art museum in the city of Las Vegas. It’s a great free stop if you’re a fan of contemporary art, and the exhibits change often. The art museum is located on the University of Nevada, and the museum has one large and well-used gallery space that’s divided into smaller exhibits. 

While the collection itself is not the largest, the art is well-curated and houses a diverse collection of artists’ work. The museum is free to enjoy, but you need to pay for parking if you’re renting a car. It’s a quiet place to take some time away from all the outside noise of the Strip. 

16. Shelby Heritage Center

If you like cars, the Shelby Heritage Center is a must-visit. It’s free to enter and open to the public 7 days a week. You can check out classic, luxury, and modern Shelby cars up close, and it tells the story of Carroll Shelby along with the company he started in 1962. 

You can browse the collection at your own pace, and soak in the history. If you like Muscle cars, especially Mustangs, you should definitely check this place out. 

17. The Arts Factory

The Arts Factory is a creative space that features local artists and galleries, with a collection of 26 artists, photographers, graphic designers, and art galleries all under one roof. It’s a beautiful artist collective warehouse, where art is hung on every surface and there are also lots of shops to check out. 

The whole Arts District is a must-see area, especially if you want to help support local art. 

18. Gold & Silver Pawn Shop

If you’re a fan of the show Pawn Stars, you should definitely visit the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which is the famous shop featured on the TV show. It’s free to walk around and check out the items on display, even if you’re not looking to buy. 

They are a real 24-hour pawn shop that buys, sells & loans, and has a fantastic selection of merchandise to choose from. The shop is clean and has a very genuine pawnshop feel, I highly recommend stopping by for a visit! 

19. Count’s Kustoms

Another car lover’s dream, Count’s Kustoms is a free showroom where you can check out custom cars. The showroom is amazing, and you can view cool paint jobs and a unique car collection belonging to Danny ‘Count’ Koker. If you like cars, especially custom cars, this place is great. 

20. The Neon Museum

The Neon Museum features signs from old casinos and other businesses displayed outdoors on 2.27 acres. While the Neon Museum does have an entrance fee for the indoor exhibits, it’s free to view the old Vegas neon signs from the outside. 

If you want to experience the history of Las Vegas and learn how the old Vegas casinos were like, this is your place. It’s a fun, short excursion that should be on your short list of “touristy” things to do in Vegas, and I recommend a night visit over a day visit for obvious reasons. Plan on staying about an hour, and stick to the outdoor exhibits – the indoor exhibits are a little pricey, and not worth the extra cost, in my opinion.

Best Unique Sightseeing & Hidden Gems in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has plenty of hidden gems outside of the Strip area that most tourists miss. Here are some of the unique spots I’ve enjoyed visiting that don’t cost anything to explore and offer a different perspective on the city: 

21. Seven Magic Mountains

Seven Magic Mountains is an outdoor art installation just outside the city, featuring towering stacks of colorful rocks. The art installation is located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. 

It was created by the Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, and is a popular Instagram spot for tourists! Personally, I think the installation feels a bit random and too modern for my liking (similar to how I saw the “Tree of Life” art installation on my way to the Bonneville salt flats in Utah), but tourists come here every year for the photos because it’s free to visit, and why not?  

22. Downtown Art Murals

Las Vegas has a growing street art scene, and Downtown is home to some of the best murals that showcase the history and vibe of Sin City. It’s a great way to experience the city’s creative side, and there are so many photo opportunities here.

23. The Arts District (18b)

The Arts District, also known as 18b, is a vibrant area with free galleries, street art, and cultural spots. I always make time to wander around here when I’m in town, especially because there’s something new to discover every time – they’re always changing out art displays and adding new things to this area. This area is known for its iconic Fremont Street Experience. 

Best Places for Window Shopping & Exploration in Las Vegas

Even if you’re not planning to buy anything, window shopping in Vegas can be an adventure in itself! With so many eye-catching displays and unique stores, exploring these areas can be really fun. These spots are great places to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the sights of Las Vegas.

24. M&M’s World

Located right next to the Coca-Cola store in Showcase Mall, M&M’s World brings out the kid in everyone. The store is an explosion of color, filled with all sorts of M&M-themed products, from candy dispensers to clothing and home decor. 

It’s free to enter, so you can wander around and marvel at the fun and quirky displays. You can buy all kinds of M&M goodies here, or just look around and take in the sights and smells here. Plus, there’s a chance to pose for fun photos with giant M&M characters and other playful displays.

25. Hershey’s Chocolate World

Hershey’s Chocolate World is another must-visit destination, right next door to M&M’s World. As soon as you walk in, you’ll be greeted by the sight of all sorts of chocolate-themed products, including giant Hershey’s bars, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and more. I

It’s the perfect spot to satisfy your sweet tooth or just enjoy the atmosphere. Take a photo in front of a giant Hershey’s Kisses or enjoy the massive collection of chocolate treats!

26. The Park and T-Mobile Arena

The Park is a free outdoor entertainment district located between New York New York and Park MGM / the T-Mobile Arena. It’s home to some beautiful public art installations, including large-scale sculptures and art pieces that make for great photo ops. On top of the art, there are often food trucks offering a variety of delicious meals and snacks, making it a perfect stop if you’re hungry but don’t want to sit down at a restaurant. The area has a laid-back, relaxed vibe that contrasts nicely with the hustle of the Strip, offering a peaceful escape while still being centrally located. 

27. Town Square Park

If you’re looking for a more peaceful outdoor spot away from the Strip, Town Square Park is a great place to relax. Located just a few miles south of the Strip, this park has plenty of open space, trees, and green areas to wander around. It’s surrounded by restaurants, which are perfect for grabbing a bite to eat while you take a break from all the excitement. 

Sometimes there’s live music playing, adding to the peaceful and laid-back atmosphere. Town Square Park is a nice change of pace in Vegas! 

28. Las Vegas North Premium Outlets

The Las Vegas North Premium Outlets offers plenty of designer deals, and it’s a cool place to window shop, featuring over 175 designer and name-brand retailers. Even if you’re not planning to buy anything, it’s a great spot to window shop. The outlets are typically less crowded than the Strip, and you can spend a few hours walking around, checking out the sales, and taking in the atmosphere of the open-air complex.

29. Miracle Mile Shops

The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is another massive shopping complex located right on the Strip. It’s home to a mix of shops, restaurants, and live entertainment options, such as the famous “Mindfreak” show by Criss Angel. 

I love strolling through the shops here, especially to enjoy the air conditioning on a hot Vegas day. With over 170 stores, there’s plenty to explore, and it’s fun to check out all the unique boutiques and shops. If you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a refreshing drink, the Miracle Mile Shops also offer a variety of food options. You can window shop to your heart’s content and grab a bite here. 

30. Coca-Cola Store Las Vegas

If you’re a fan of Coca-Cola, the Coca-Cola Store is a must-visit stop. This fun store offers a range of Coke-themed merchandise, from clothing to collectibles, making it a great place to browse for unique souvenirs. 

What makes the store truly special is its soda fountain, where you can try Coca-Cola flavors from around the world. It’s a fun experience to taste different international sodas. The store is free to enter and offers a refreshing way to enjoy some iconic branding while exploring the Strip.

Best Free Adventures Near Las Vegas

There are plenty of free adventures nearby that are perfect for people who want to see some things that are uniquely Nevada. You’ll need a rental car or a tour bus to explore these areas, but visiting them is completely free. 

31. Ethel M Chocolate Factory & Cactus Garden

Visit the Ethel M Chocolate Factory, where you can take a free tour and see how the chocolates are made. The factory has been owned by Mars, Inc. since 1988, and you get some delicious free chocolate samples upon entering. There is no entrance fee, and there’s a beautiful cactus garden that’s really extensive and showcases the many different cactuses of the desert. Overall, a relaxing and unique way to spend an afternoon!

32. Hoover Dam

The Hoover Dam is one of the most iconic attractions from the Las Vegas Strip. There’s a fee if you want to take a tour, but it’s free to walk across the dam and take in some incredible views. 

You can walk from Arizona to Nevada, explore the gift shop, and experience a time zone change in a matter of footsteps! It’s definitely an iconic, must-see attraction near Las Vegas. 

33. Red Rock Canyon

If you love nature and want to get outside, the free trails at Red Rock Canyon are great for enjoying the desert landscape. The area is known for geological features such as towering red sandstone peaks and the Keystone Thrust Fault, as well as Native American petroglyphs. 

Even though the grounds are free to explore, the scenic drive does have an entrance fee, so I recommend visiting the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to hike, walk, and enjoy other recreational activities outside of the Scenic Drive area. 

34. Mount Charleston

If you’re looking to escape the heat of the Strip, Mount Charleston is a great option. Located about an hour from the Las Vegas Strip, there are free hiking trails and nature walks to enjoy in this area, and the cooler air makes it a refreshing getaway. 

I recommend always checking the weather and road conditions (zoom in to the Las Vegas area and click the roads) before you head up! Be aware of potential avalanche hazards like heavy wet snow on the steep mountainsides, especially if you’re visiting during the wintertime.

Las Vegas may have a reputation for being all about gambling and nightlife, but there’s so much more to this city and a lot of things you can do for free!

I’ve found that the best experiences in Vegas don’t always come with a price tag, and I always make time to explore these free activities every time I visit. You can easily enjoy the Strip, Downtown, and the general Las Vegas area without straining your wallet.
