We’ve stayed at Park MGM Las Vegas twice now, and both times were a hit. Out of all the hotels we’ve tried on the Strip, this one has become one of my favorites (part of my Top 3).
The rooms are clean and fresh, you’re steps away from incredible shows and concerts, and there are so many great places to eat that the hotel has earned a reputation as a bit of a foodie’s paradise.
In this Park MGM review, I’ll break down the rooms, the food, the pool situation, and what makes this hotel feel so different from its Strip neighbors.

Best Things to Do in Las Vegas
Park MGM sits right in the middle of the action, so you’re close to attractions and venues where you can catch some great shows. If you’re building out your itinerary, these are worth adding:
- Mad Apple Cirque du Soleil – A bold mashup of circus, comedy, and rock ‘n’ roll at New York-New York, right across the Strip
- O by Cirque du Soleil – Cirque’s iconic water-based spectacle at the Bellagio, just a quick tram ride away
- ARIA Express Tram – Free and easy way to get to Bellagio and Vdara without ever stepping onto the Strip sidewalk
- T-Mobile Arena Residencies and Shows – Right next door, hosting concerts, UFC fights, and Golden Knights games
- Bellagio Fountains – A short walk or tram ride away, and always worth a stop at night
Arrival & Check-In
Walking into the Park MGM Las Vegas feels different from most other hotels on the Strip. The lobby feels boutique, warm and earthy, with wood accents, greenery, and a relaxed atmosphere instead of the usual flashing lights and slot machine noise.
Check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly both times we stayed. It’s worth noting that Park MGM tends to book up fast, especially around big events at T-Mobile Arena, so if you’re traveling during a busy weekend, book early and expect the lobby to have a bit more energy than usual.
The Rooms
The rooms at Park MGM are gorgeous. The design leans into deep greens and warm reds with natural textures, and honestly, it’s the kind of aesthetic I’d want my future home to look like. It feels more like a boutique hotel than a big Strip casino resort.
The one downside worth flagging: there’s no in-room fridge. For a hotel at this price point on the Strip, that felt like a real miss, especially if you like to stock up on snacks and drinks to save money during your stay. Otherwise, the rooms are quiet, comfortable, and easily one of the best-looking spaces we’ve stayed in on the Strip.

What Makes Park MGM Different?
Las Vegas Park MGM isn’t trying to be flashy or themed like some of its neighbors. It’s built around a calmer, more design-forward experience, and a few specific features really set it apart from the rest of the Strip.
Smoke-Free Casino Floor
Park MGM is one of the only fully smoke-free casino resorts on the Strip, and you notice it the moment you walk in. There’s a freshness to the air that you just don’t get at most other Vegas hotels, especially the ones closer to the center of the Strip where smoking tends to be heavy.
It might not sound like a huge deal, but if you’ve ever walked through a smoky casino floor trying to get to your room, you’ll understand why this is such a draw. It caters to a specific kind of traveler who wants their vacation to actually feel relaxing.
The Reserve at Park MGM (formerly NoMad, the Hotel Within a Hotel)
Tucked inside the top floors of Park MGM is The Reserve , a boutique hotel-within-a-hotel with its own separate check-in, lobby, and even its own pool. It’s a more upscale, quieter experience layered right on top of Park MGM.
We didn’t stay in The Reserve rooms ourselves, but it’s worth knowing about if you want a more elevated stay without leaving the property. It’s a nice option if Park MGM’s vibe appeals to you but you’re looking to splurge a little more.
Haus of Gaga
Park MGM is also home to Haus of Gaga, the immersive space tied to Lady Gaga’s residency at the Dolby Live theater on the property. It’s part bar, part gallery, and leans into the same artistic, slightly moody aesthetic that runs through the rest of the hotel.
Even if you’re not catching the show, it’s a fun, unexpected detail that adds to Park MGM’s overall personality. It’s clear this hotel was designed with a specific kind of guest in mind, and details like this reinforce that.
The Park MGM Casino
The casino floor at Park MGM is noticeably different from other Strip casinos, mostly thanks to the smoke-free policy and the more relaxed layout. It’s not as sprawling or overwhelming as some of the bigger resorts, which actually makes it easier to navigate.
It still has a solid mix of slot machines and table games, but the overall energy is calmer. If you’re someone who finds typical Vegas casino floors a bit much, this is a welcome change of pace, and can be great for first-time visitors to Vegas!
Dining & Bars
This is where Park MGM really shines. It’s earned its reputation as a foodie destination for a reason, and the lineup of restaurants on the property is impressive.
Eataly
Eataly is one of the best parts of staying at Park MGM. You can head downstairs, grab a pastry or a coffee, and be back up in your room within minutes. It’s such a convenient perk when you’re actually staying on property, and it means you’re never far from a good meal or snack.
Best Friend
Best Friend is Roy Choi’s restaurant on the property, and it’s not cheap. We were surprised to pay $21 for kimchi fried rice that we assumed would be a side dish. That said, we don’t regret it at all. It’s Korean food with Mexican fusion elements woven in, and it’s some of the best food we’ve had in Vegas.
One thing to know: it’s 21-plus, so you can’t even sit at the bar if you’re under that age. That felt like an interesting choice for a Vegas hotel restaurant, but it fits the overall vibe of the space.
Bavette’s Steakhouse
Bavette’s has been on my bucket list every time we’ve stayed at Park MGM, and I still haven’t made it there myself. But everything I’ve heard about it has been glowing, and it’s consistently mentioned as one of the top steakhouse options on the Strip. Next visit, this is the one I’m prioritizing.
Other Park MGM Restaurants & Bars
Beyond the big names, Park MGM also has La La Noodle, which is one of the best affordable restaurants in Las Vegas, a favorite of mine for comforting soup dishes that are easy to split with a travel partner.
Between Eataly, Best Friend, Bavette’s, and Lala Noodle, there’s genuinely something for every mood, and that’s before you even factor in the bars scattered throughout the property.
The Park MGM Pool
Park MGM’s pool setup is one of the best parts of staying here. There are two separate pools, and they serve very different purposes.
The ground-level pool is more social and open, with a bar and a livelier atmosphere, and it’s visible to people passing by who aren’t staying at the hotel. It’s lush, green, and a great spot if you want a bit of energy with your pool day.
The terrace pool, on the other hand, is guest-only and requires a separate elevator to access. It’s quieter, more exclusive, and comes with great views of neighboring hotels like Aria and Waldorf Astoria.
Park MGM Location
Park MGM in Las Vegas sits right in the middle of the Strip, next to T-Mobile Arena and connected to The Park, the outdoor dining and entertainment walkway that leads toward New York-New York. That means you’re within easy walking distance of a ton of restaurants, bars, and attractions without needing to go far.
It’s also close to the ARIA Express Tram, which makes getting to Bellagio and Vdara free and easy. The location genuinely works in the hotel’s favor, putting you close to the center of the Strip without feeling like you’re in the middle of total chaos.
What to Watch Out For
A few things worth knowing before you book:
- No in-room fridge. This was the one real downside of our stay. For a hotel at this price point, it felt like an oversight, especially if you like to keep drinks or leftovers on hand.
- Event nights can get loud and busy. We stayed at Park MGM during the Stanley Cup Finals, with the Golden Knights playing right next door at T-Mobile Arena, and things got a little chaotic. The noise from the arena carries into the hotel, so if there’s a big event during your stay, expect some extra energy.
- Book early during event season. Because of its location next to T-Mobile Arena, Park MGM books up fast around concerts and sporting events.
To their credit, when the arena noise was an issue, hotel staff left a note on our door acknowledging it and inviting us to join the festivities if we wanted, along with an offer to help with anything we needed. It was a nice touch that made the chaos feel a little more intentional.
Who Is This Hotel For?
Park MGM is a great fit for travelers who aren’t necessarily coming to Vegas to party hard. If you want a Vegas stay with a more relaxed, refined feel, this hotel delivers that in a way a lot of other Strip properties don’t.
It appeals to a similar crowd as neighbors like Aria, Waldorf Astoria, and Cosmopolitan, more design-forward and grown-up, compared to the themed, higher-energy vibe you’d get at places like New York-New York or Excalibur. Those hotels can be a lot of fun, but you’re probably not going to feel as relaxed there as you will at Park MGM.

Final Thoughts: Is Park MGM Worth It?
Yes, absolutely. Between the food, the design, the smoke-free casino, and the pool setup, Park MGM has become one of our go-to hotels on the Strip. The lack of an in-room fridge is a minor annoyance, but it’s not enough to change our answer.
\This is one of the strongest mid-range options on the Strip. The fridge situation is worth keeping in mind, but it’s a small trade-off for everything else the hotel gets right. And after two stays, our own Park MGM Las Vegas experience has been consistent both times.
If you’re after a Vegas stay that feels a little more relaxed and refined without giving up a great location, Park MGM is absolutely worth booking.
